DESIGN
As a Design Intern for both Men’s and Women’s Woven at G-Star RAW, I worked across research, sampling and digital development within the design team. My experience during the internship eventually led to continuing at G-Star RAW as a Pattern Specialist in the atelier.
INTERNSHIP
SAMPLES AND PITCH BOARDS
I created pitch boards and sample boards to explore materials, construction details and garment functionality throughout the development process. These boards were used to test ideas visually and physically while helping communicate concepts between design and atelier.
I used CLO3D throughout the design process to test garments digitally before moving into physical sampling. Working this way helped communicate ideas more clearly between design and atelier while making it easier to adjust fit, construction and proportions during development.
